Case study: Qualification programmes
Some of our key customers have recognised our qualification programmes as the ultimate tool in creating a successful and sustainable organisation throughout the supply chain. With offices in Hong Kong, China and Dhaka, Bangladesh our consultants have a local approach to the market.
In close cooperation with our client, we develop a target based on the code of conduct of the company. We distinguish ourselves from auditing companies as we focus on development and improvements through on-site training modules for the factory management. As a first step we begin with a “Quick Scan” which is a thorough inspection of the current status at the supplier. Based on these findings, our consultants create a corrective action plan, CAP, a list of needed improvements providing both the factory and the retailer an understanding of the situation on the factory floor as well as administrative areas such as salaries, overtime and other documentation. With monthly on-site visits, and in-between coaching by phone and e-mail, we establish a close relationship with the factory management for developing a tailor-made solution according to the actual circumstances.
